Then he took me on a surprise shopping trip! After two hours of bliss, he then surprised me with ticket to go see “New Moon”! Since we hadn’t eaten yet, we snuck Subway sandwiches in [that we got with a 10% discount because he told them it was my birthday]. He’d heard me mention it would be fun to see that movie and nothing stops him from trying to impress me so off we went to the theatre. He was less than impressed at the end to say the least, haha.
We came home and he finished sculpting my masterpiece birthday cake [that I was not allowed to see until my birthday party that night]. He had to work for a few hours and I had to babysit which honestly, I didn’t mind at all since the girls are adorable and I’d rather be with them than by myself. We had a blast playing “Hungry, Hungry Hippo” and eating those yummy frosted animal crackers.
Dave came to pick me up and surprised me AGAIN by taking me to dinner at Applebee’s! Our server was so cute and put my lemonade in a fancy margarita glass because Dave told her it was my birthday too! We went home and I opened my presents and Dave sang me a solo happy birthday song [which I will try to put up here-we recorded it and it’s hilarious!]. We were surprised at the end when the smoke detector started going off!
The entire day was so fun and full of surprises. It was nice being on Thanksgiving break too! I have the most wonderful husband who does everything for me.
My husband = a girls dream come true.
