This is me.
Or at least how Dave sees me…. as a pumpkin person. For family home evening, we decided to paint portraits of each other on pumpkins. I gave him permission to paint me however he wanted. He was the artist so it was entirely up to him. And that is why I'm yellow.
Dave really got in to it. The whole time he was smiling and ooing and awwing at his work. He just kept saying, “Oh yeah. That’s perfect.” And when he turned it around, there I was!!! Haha I have to say, he did include some very “me” features. We both died laughing!.... until I turned him around.
He was almost offended, saying, “WHAT?! I don’t smile like that! My teeth don’t look like that. That is scary! Really scary.”
We are really loving the holidays around here.
We went to a pumpkin patch with Ashley and Scott to get the perfect pumpkins! We definitely found them.
We love fall!
What a striking resemblance of you two pumpkin heads! That is absolutely hilarious. Love the rest of your decorations too, especially the spooky tree. Might have to go tear up some of my expensive landscaping to get one for me! Love you guys!

ReplyDeleteThe pumpkin heads story is hilarious! I read it outloud, talking on the phone to Things' Mommy and was cracking up! Especially Dave's reaction to his teeth and your luscious lips! LOVE the Halloween decorations--I'm totally doing the bat tree next year!
