Surprise , surprise! We have an announcement to make – our family is now +1 and we are thrilled! Sweet little Lucy joined our family May 12th. We adopted this little one from the shelter where she was previously found (as a stray half starved and with a big sore on her leg), gave her a bath and filled her life with so much love. She is the sweetest dog in the world.
Breed: Border collie mix (Aust. Shepherd possibly)

She moved with us to Indiana/Chicago two weeks after her
adoption and was such a trooper. Rode all 40+ hours of driving on the bumpy
floor of our U-haul. She then trucked up with us on family vacation to Michigan
(post to come). She is so perfect for us and we are so grateful to have sweet
little Lucy in our lives!

Lucy seems like such a darling with such a sweet, playful character. What a great travel companionon, adventurer, and cuddler! I love her "ear coding system"!! Congratulations on your +1.(: We can't wait to meet her. Hopefully, she'll have a James "dog cousin" before too long.
